South Wales Police is urging residents to stay alert to rogue traders operating in our communities.

Rogue traders often knock on doors offering services such as:
🔨 Roofing repairs
🛣️ Driveway work
🌳 Gardening services
🏠 Home maintenance

⚠️ They may claim urgent work is needed, use high-pressure sales tactics, and demand payment for poor-quality or unnecessary work.

Be wary of unexpected callers

Don't be rushed into making a decision

Always get quotes and paperwork in writing

Check identification and credentials

Never hand over cash upfront

📞 If you've been approached by a rogue trader, report it to South Wales Police on 101 or online.
🚔 In an emergency, always call 999.
